Why Blue Ridge Christian Academy?

Our goal at Blue Ridge Christian Academy is education and formation.

We feel both are important in creating lifelong learners destined to make a difference in their personal lives and the world around them.

Through our mission and vision, we work in partnership with parents to meet the individual needs of each child, while at the same time helping each to build their strengths, explore their interests, and develop into the person God has called them to be.

A Unique Vision

With a unique vision for a classically based Christian education, Blue Ridge Christian Academy opened its doors to 77 students in 2005.

Operating then as two schools, Bethel Christian School (PreK-5) and Blue Ridge Christian Academy (6-12) enrollment grew, while continuing to maintain a low student-teacher ratio to ensure academic success of our students.

The school has since united grades K-12 under the name of Blue Ridge Christian Academy, and is currently the only non-denominational K-12 grade school serving Warren County and the surrounding region.

Educated Faculty

There are 22 full-time faculty, who together culminate more than 150 years in teaching experience. Every teacher at Blue Ridge Christian Academy receives annual training in Feuerstein Instrumental Enrichment (FIE) and topics of interest and development in neuroeducation.

FIE focuses on developing and modifying cognitive areas such as analytic perception, comparison, classification, orientation, and more. In addition, teachers are trained as mediators in the classroom, assisting the students to become independent, lifelong learners.
